ARM are recruiting for a Human Factors Engineer for a Contract or Permanent opportunity with a market leading Defence Client offering a Hybrid working model from Dorset.

As a Human Factors Engineer, you will be working on key defence project and be responsible for:
* Support Vigilant lead HFI specialist in the conduct of human factors activities and integration of HF into the design
* Work with end user groups and HF stakeholders in workshops, trials and User-Centered Design activities
* Conduct analyses such as persona development, task analysis and usability assessment
* Assess prototypes/mock-ups of hardware and software solutions
* Produce reports and input to customer deliverables.

Skills required:
* A recognised degree or equivalent qualification in Human Factors, Ergonomics or Psychology
* Registered membership of the Chartered Institute of Human Factors (or eligibility for CIEHF Chartership via an equivalent body)
* At least five years' experience of applying Human Factors methods in defence or safety-critical industry
* Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team on complex system integration and development projects

Due to the nature of the sector, you will need to hold current and active UK Security Clearance or at least be eligible to gain it.
