FITTER - WEST MIDLANDS - 12 MONTHS CONTRACT

Arm are currently working with a well-known engineering company who work in aerospace, energy and automotive markets, they are currently delivering a critical UK infrastructure project, and are seeking for professional Fitter to join their team within the Assembly & Test Derby Facility

About You:
* In this role you are required to hold a recognised apprenticeship within a Mechanical Engineering discipline, at either City and Guilds Level 3, or NVQ Level 3, and BTEC national or equivalent qualification.
* You will need to have experience in using a variety of engineering equipment and the ability to be able to interpret engineering drawings and apply instructions precisely to achieve the required product quality.
* You will already hold the knowledge of lean principles and processes along with knowledge of quality tools, systems and procedures.
* Ideally you will be able to demonstrate relevant fitting experience of engine components.

What you will be doing:
In this role you will be coordinating the fitting of engine components and/or modules using the engineering drawings and technical specifications.
You will be ensuring all health and safety procedures are maintained.
You will be working in a compliance manner to ensure all products are built to the correct technical and quality specifications.
You will participate in the continual review and improvement process to utilize the companies' best practices.

This role is based in Derby, this role will be fully office based.

There will be shift patterns included in this role.

This is offered as a 12-month contract.
