Financial Accountant in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Financial Accountant - Bedfordshire - Permanent - £42,000 - £46,000

ARM are delighted to be supporting one of the biggest Defence companies in the UK with the recruitment of a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis.

The role will report to the Senior Manager and be responsible for all aspects of general accountancy.

Responsibilities:

* Preparation of annual statutory accounts.
* Month and quarter end reporting.
* Preparation of VAT returns.
* Capital Expenditure and Fixed Asset accounting.
* Foreign currency transaction.
* Point of contact for company insurance policies.

Requirements:

* Qualified Accountant with post qualification experience.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
* Understanding VAT regulations.
* Experience dealing with external auditors preferred.
* Keen eye for detail with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Eligible for SC clearance.
