As a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for aligning the trading and marketing functions, ensuring that there are strong synergies between these two critical areas. This role will require the individual to gain a deep understanding of both trading practices and marketing strategies, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. You will play a pivotal role in optimising our operations and driving growth within Purplebricks.
You will:
* Finance Business Partner to 4 key areas: Sales, Marketing, Contact Centre and Conveyancing.
* Provide ad-hoc analysis for the Sales team. Including performance analysis, refund analysis, voucher tracking etc.
* Point of contact for Marketing and Sales liaising on everything FP&A and trading performance.
* Budget reconciliation on a monthly and annual basis for Sales, Marketing and Conveyancing.
* Attend the weekly trading meeting to understand performance within the business. Provide insight and challenge within this meeting.
* The finance point of contact for all trade pack related questions. From providing forecast numbers for the weekly trade pack to tracking weekly performance.
* Collaborate with key business stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Contact Centre and Conveyancing) alongside FP&A Manager to produce periodic forecast and annual budget.
* Assist with Pricing analysis when conducting proposition changes.
* Modelling financial implications whilst also understanding key geographical and customer income related issues.
* Liaising between business functions to ensure any pricing or other changes run smoothly limiting the financial impact.
* Key point of contact from Finance to understand recruitment needs within the sales team.
* Producing business cases alongside Sales to analyse the ROI.
* Partnerships and Contract Negotiations: Work alongside our partnerships team providing financial information to assist with decision making as well as modelling various financial scenarios while also providing acceptable ranges during negotiations.
* Provide oversight on monthly commission to support the wider team in reviews and checks.
Qualifications & Skills:
* CIMA / ACCA / ACA Qualified
* Excellent communication skills with the proven ability to liaise with external stakeholders at all levels of management. Confidence to provide challenge to Stakeholders where necessary.
* Ability to communicate and work with finance and non-finance stakeholders, particularly when communicating finance results to non-finance stakeholders.
* Exceptionally strong numerical and analytical skills. Proven ability to turn a set of data in to strong financial analysis that is well presented with clearly visible key messaging.
* Experience within an FP&A department having put together forecasts and budgets.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modelling and working knowledge of financial software tools.
* Ability to manage own workload, prioritise key tasks and work to tight deadlines.
* Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Thinking outside the box to support growth and drive the business forwards. Strategic thinking and innovation to devise creative solutions in a dynamic market.
