A local authority is currently looking for an Energy Systems Lead, for a permanent role based in Oxfordshire.
About You:
* You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience.
* You will have a track record of delivering complex technical work.
* You will understand business models and barriers for deploying infrastructure to meet net zero.
* You will have the ability to present technical work professionally, concisely and demonstrate relevance to a wide range of audiences.
* You will have experience of energy systems planning.
* You will have technical knowledge of operation and governance of Distribution Networks and Gas Networks.
What you will be doing:
You will be supporting the move to a local area energy planning approach, which identifies where and how low carbon technologies need to be deployed in communities, optimising grid and maximising local benefits.
The role is based in Oxfordshire. This will be working 5 days a week during normal office hours.
The salary for this position is between £41,496 - £44,539.
