Contract Design Engineer in Petersfield, Hampshire

ContractOur Client are looking to recruit a Contract Design Engineer in the Petersfield area.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling for new product development work.
- Working for the lead New Product Development Engineer.
- Producing models and drawings for evaluation of concepts and manufacture of prototypes using Solidworks.
Skills/Attributes required:
- Solidworks - competent in modeling, assemblies, manufacturing drawings, and BOMs
- Manage own time to complete allocated tasks.
- Background in New Product Development.
- Knowledge of design for manufacture (CNC machining mainly) essential, aluminium extrusions would be nice to have.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a temporary role with a minimum of 2 months' worth of work that could possibly extended. Working hours are Monday to Friday 08.00 am -- 17.00 pm.
