You will have technical leadership of the solution throughout the life of the system. Your role includes owning, steering and ensuring delivery of the technical solutions from bid stage through to commissioning and operation. You are the first point of contact for both the customers as a technical lead, and internally for the key stakeholders.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Technical leadership of the solution through the life of the system with the customer
- First point of contact for our customer and internal stakeholders for all technical matters
- Steer and own the design process in projects incorporating development and reviewing design documentation, ensuring final customer sign off
- Technical and budgetary feasibility of technical solutions, including life cycle management
- Successfully integrating systems, testing and commissioning technical solutions
- Plan and coordinate technical resources, including work packages and monitoring schedules/ timelines
- Analysing technical project risks and opportunities, and preparing contingency plans
- Overseeing and working with the project team to define Change Requests
- Collaboration and coordinating with all internal and external project stakeholders (development/ testing/ documentation etc).
- Ensuring agreed technical project milestones and defined quality elements are met/ complied with
- Technical collaboration and definition of interface specifications with 3rd parties
Your Knowledge & experience
- Experience of successfully designing and delivering complex technical solutions
- Safety Critical technical delivery experience essential
- Air Traffic Management experience ideal
- Telecommunications/IT/ technologies experience
- Awareness of Cloud technologies
- Project Management knowledge
- Extensive experience in Technical field (System Engineering etc)
