You will be working for a large Defence company who develop and supply a broad portfolio of aerospace, land and maritime systems and products for defence, national security, and commercial aviation applications who have excellent benefits and career progression opportunities.

As the Algorithm Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of control and signal analysis algorithms and the verification and design documentation and artefacts as well as translating working practices, developing algorithms and producing architectures for subsystems and components and designs ready for translation into software requirements.

Due to the nature of the work you will be doing as the Algorithm Engineer, Security clearance up to SC will be required to perform this role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Development of signal processing and control algorithms.
• Development of data analysis and machine learning algorithms
• Development and maintenance of algorithm models
• Verification of models and their implementations
• Development of verification frameworks
• Decomposition of performance requirements across subsystems
• Chairing working groups as required to gain consensus on, and input to designs
• Creation of design, test and release documentation.
