Commercial Finance Bid Specialist
3 Month FTC
London (Hybrid -2 days per week onsite)
£60-70k pro-rata

ARM are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Bid Specialist on behalf of our telecommunications client to work in London on a 3 Month FTC contract.

Responsibilities:

* Financial Bid Models: Own and construct financial bid models, utilizing existing company modeling tools. Ensure compliance with IFRS15 for revenue recognition, accurate cost treatment, and adequate contingency provisions.
* Reporting and Analysis: Provide detailed reporting, including internal governance requirements, scenario analysis, assessments, and recommendations to the bid team and broader business as needed.
* Performance Under Pressure: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a deadline-driven sales environment.
* Finance Briefing: Complete finance briefings on time and accurately, applying best practices for appropriate sign-off.
* Governance Calls: Participate in governance calls, ensuring bids comply with required governance and compliance standards, and are costed and priced accurately. Collaborate with the operational finance team to adhere to audit requirements and implement recommendations.
* Bid Support: Collaborate with the bid team and wider business in all aspects of financial pricing and costing, providing reporting and modeling support for all client bid areas.
* Team Coordination: Manage inputs from other bid team members (Service Lines, HR, etc.) to ensure accurate completion of customer pricing schedules.
* Innovation and Initiative: Be willing to share your views and explore innovative solutions.
* Ad-hoc Tasks: Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.

Requirements:
* Ideally, you are a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or an equivalent professional affiliation) with post-qualification experience. Candidates with substantial relevant experience without formal qualifications will also be considered.
* IT Services Industry: Proven experience in the IT services sector is essential.
* Complex Pricing and Costing: Expertise in complex pricing and costing for high-value, large-scale, multi-year infrastructure client bids.
* Unit-Based Pricing: Extensive experience required.
* Commercial Models: In-depth knowledge of services commercial models, including fixed price, time & materials, and support & infrastructure services.
* Client Bid Processes: Solid experience in managing client bid processes.
* Bid Teams: Experience working within multiple bid teams.
* Stakeholder Management: Proficient in managing stakeholders, presenting influential recommendations, and explaining complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
* Influencing Senior Stakeholders: Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
* Immediate Start: The candidate must be available to start immediately.
* Telecoms experience needed
