Senior Facilities Engineer in Bedfordshire

(Bedford) - Permanent, up to £49k
About you:
* HND/HNC is advantageous.
* The successful candidate will have experience liaising with internal customers, external customers, and suppliers.
* The candidate will be familiar with fuel flow meters, engine dynamo meters, engine test-beds, combustion air systems, data acquisition systems, or test-bed emissions equipment.
* Experience related to Project Management is desirable.
The Role:
* Supporting Engineers and technicians to investigate and repair all equipment issues that cannot be resolved at an operational level.
* Ensure test equipment currently being utilised is calibrated, maintained, and producing robust data.
* Ensure users of the equipment are kept notified of upcoming calibration dates.
* Assist with the integration of test equipment into the test cell, ensuring best practices are being adhered to.
* Create technical procedures for facilities maintenance, calibration, and quality checks.
