PermanentAbout the Role - Infrastructure Technician
An experienced, enthusiastic, and versatile individual is required to join an on-site technical team in supporting a full range of IT infrastructure solutions primarily based around application, desktop, and end user device support. The applicant must have experience working within a dynamic user environment with many differing types of users, both in technical ability and company status.
About You
We would like the suitable candidate to have at least 3 years' experience working in a technical support capacity.
Required
Experience and Key Successful Factors:
* A professional and confident manner
* 3 years' experience working in a Service Level driven technical support role
* Excellent customer service skills in a face-to-face environment
* Ability to prioritise workload
* Understanding of SLAs
* Accreditation or experience in some of the following technical products.
* Office 365 (License administration / Creating new users & groups/ Microsoft
* Exchange Hybrid / SharePoint /OneDrive /Teams) o Azure (Conditional Access / MFA / Intune (MDM) / ADFS) Microsoft Windows 10 / Server 2012+ o Microsoft Exchange Server 2016+
* Apple iOS mobile device maintenance and support
* Laptop and desktop hardware maintenance and support (Windows and Apple)
* A good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS and Microsoft Active Directory
* Strong understanding of Windows based operating systems and networking
* Microsoft RDS & RemoteApp
* Proficient in setting up & running Teams Live Events
Advantageous skills:
* Connectwise
* Manage Engine products
* Email filtering solutions, specifically Mimecast o Web filtering solutions
* Understanding of; o Security principals & best practices o WAN, Routers, Switches and Wireless Networks.
* Understanding of hosted IT services
Qualifications and Certification
* Degree level education an advantage.
* Minimum GCSE or equivalent Maths and English - grade C or above
