Scrum Master

Location: Reading
Rate: Up to £74 per hour (Inside IR35)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Scrum Master to support agile delivery across digital and data teams in Reading.

Please note: Due to the nature of the work, candidates must already hold a high level of security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
• Support backlog refinement, prioritisation and sprint delivery.
• Identify and remove obstacles to maintain delivery progress.
• Drive continuous improvement and promote agile best practices.
• Coach teams and stakeholders on agile ways of working.
• Encourage collaboration across multidisciplinary digital and data teams.
• Manage dependencies, risks and delivery challenges.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience working as a Scrum Master within agile delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban and agile methodologies.
• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies and managing team dynamics.
• Background supporting digital and data delivery teams.
• Ability to identify and resolve blockers and drive continuous improvement.
• Experience with scaled agile frameworks such as SAFe, LeSS or Scrum@Scale.
• Professional certification such as PSM, CSM, SAFe Scrum Master or equivalent.
