As the Landing Gear Systems Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. You will be involved in:

• Responsible for delivery of engineering tasks in the projects/mission assigned and personally delivering on-time, on-quality, and on-cost delivery technical solutions for the assigned scope
• Define technical requirements, perform technical analyses, write plans, accomplishment summaries etc. to achieve approval from Senior Engineers and Specialists.
• Critique and validate task planning, and regularly update progress reporting for Engineering Leaders
• Execute V&V strategies, test definition, and technical analyses for the assigned scope
• Responsible for engineering deliverables related to validation and verification evidence/reports, ensuring compliance to the applicable requirements prior to submission for review
• Investigate and resolve technical issues encountered during development or in-service operation within the assigned scope, developing and substantiating robust solutions
• Engage regularly with Senior Engineers, Specialists, and Engineering Leaders to gain support, agreement, and ensure alignment
• Support other engineers, fostering team development and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
• Prepare technical documentation (reports, specifications, presentations) to support project milestones, design reviews, etc.
• Reviewed/Approved technical documentation (specifications, reports, V&V evidence etc.)

Your skillset & experience:

• Degree-level qualification in Engineering or a related discipline
• Systems Engineering experience
• Knowledge/understanding of aircraft systems
• Data analysis, report writing, and presentation skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in technical challenges
