A well-known engineering consultancy has some huge strategic growth plans in place to run in parallel with the large amounts of expansion going on at their facility in the Coventry area and as a result of this they are now looking for a number of emissions technicians to work out of a brand new test facility (due to open in January 2017). Their existing ambient chassis dynamometer facility and their new climatic chassis dynamometer facility provide a full suite of capabilities to meet customer and legislative demands, together with a growing capacity of Portable Emission Measurement Systems for RDE development and certification test activities.

Ideally, you will have some exposure to vehicle emissions testing either working on a chassis dynamometer or in a temperature controlled chamber. You will have had exposure to vehicle preparation, instrumentation, data logging equipment or similar. You may also be familiar with working shift patterns or overtime as and when required.

+ Ideally a City & Guilds or NVQ based Engineering qualification as a minimum.
+ Good hands-on background working with sensors and instrumentation for whole vehicle test programmes.
