Position Description:
An experienced vehicle dynamics engineer who is capable of developing vehicle attribute performance (Ride, Steering, Handling) from the early Prototype phases through to production without supervision.

Skills Required:
Capable in evaluating ride, steering, handling attributes, both subjective & objective, track based and on road. Understanding and experience of analysing K & C data and how this relates to attribute performance of the vehicle. Capability to tune suspension properties including suspension stiffness parameters (springs, springs aids, Anti Roll Bars, rebound springs, damping), Kinematic & Compliance properties and electronic control systems.

Experience Required:
3Yrs+ Experience of tuning of Vehicle Dynamics customer attribute performance including; - Suspension stiffness parameters (springs, springs aids, Anti Roll Bars, rebound springs, damping). - Kinematic & Compliance properties - Electronic control systems (Stability control systems, Driveline controls) Evidence of Advanced driving skills or experience, road and track based. Experience of safe dynamic vehicle test procedures in proving ground environments.

Experience Preferred:
A Nurburgring industry pool licence is preferred for this role as it may involve some development work at the Nurburgring. Understanding of vehicle dynamics CAE analysis and simulation. BEng in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace Engineering preferred.

Additional Information:
The role will require overseas travel where the vehicle development and validation plan dictates. The applicant should be awarded that the role may involve occasional overtime or flexible hours in order to keep a project on track. Driver helmet and overalls provided by the company where required. Safety shoes provided by the company.
