Test Technician - Chassis Dynamometer
Location; Coventry

Vehicle emissions is a hot topic in the industry at the moment as companies strive to hit stringent emissions legislation and build upon their competitive edge when it comes to lowering their carbon footprint. As a result of this, one of the world's largest tier one suppliers is now looking for a technician to join their vehicle emissions team at their base in Coventry.

As a technician, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for test through removing prototype parts, fitting prototype test equipment, wiring and soldering, attaching various sensors/instrumentation/data acquisition equipment, using emissions analysers, operation and maintenance of your test cell, carrying out vehicle tests and more.

About you;

+ A proven technician, ideally from a vehicle or engine test/development background.
+ A good hands-on knowledge of test instrumentation and sensors, i.e. pressure transducers and thermocouples.
+ Demonstrable mechanical fitting skills.
+ Conversant with Microsoft Office tools.


+ Ideally HNC/HND in an engineering discipline; mechanical, automotive or similar.

£25,000 - £35,000 (commensurate with experience).
