We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. As Technical Analyst we feel this opportunity would be a great move for someone already within the Automotive Industry and will allow you to work in a forward-thinking and market leading business.

Position Description:
As a Technical Analyst within Vehicle Personalisation, you will be responsible for a variety of technically biased tasks, working to support engineers and managers. You will need to work with personnel from other departments and functions within Organisation, and possibly with external companies. You will be working within the Cargo & Carrying team, assisting the engineers in tasks like releasing, issue management, material movement, validation and testing, geometry interrogation, standards authoring, purchase orders etc.

Skills Required:
Engineering degree or HND in a technical field Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Good communication skills

Experience Required:
Graduate degree with a technical background

Experience Preferred:
1. Knowledge of the design and development of new automotive products. Knowledge of product development systems used in the automotive industry.
2. Knowledge of quality tools used in industrial applications eg. DVP, FMEA, DFA, Robustness Knowledge of issue tracking and release systems eg. BOM, AIMS, WERS Knowledge of vehicle homologation requirements Working knowledge of project planning tools eg MS Project Good working knowledge of manufacturing processes, particularly tooling methods and lead-times.
3. Good working knowledge of materials used in modern vehicles (eg. plastics, metals, composites and paint).
4. Working knowledge of product costing and pricing methods.
