Job DescriptionJob Title: Talent Acquisition Lead
Location: Whiteley, plus travel to other UK sites
Duration: 6-9 month FTC
Salary: up to £55,000 pro rata
Please note, all successful applicants will be required to have the necessary residency requirements to achieve security clearance at the appropriate level for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
The Talent Acquisition Lead will be responsible for delivering the resource plan across UK, Europe and Middle East across three business units, providing continuous improvement across internal, external, contingent and permanent recruitment. The Talent Acquisition Lead will engage line management in a consultative and strategic capacity to ensure that programmes are fully staffed. Provide expert advice, data and recommendations to support key resourcing decisions. Integrate recruitment activity with resource planning by building strong working relationships with HR, Operations, Resource Planning and Finance functions. Own and deliver continuous improvement in the Quality, Speed and Cost of Hiring for assigned business unit(s).
o Accountable for the end to end recruitment activity from developing sourcing strategies to on-boarding.
o Attend regular meetings with the senior hiring community supporting new business capture pursuits. Directly and indirectly execute campaigns to ensure programmes are staffed timely, cost effectively, and with the very best available talent.
o Project Managing hiring campaigns, offer subject to contract award
o Provide support and input into bids, responding to resourcing related questions.
o Support the roll out of a new applicant tracking system, Kenexa Brassring.
o Present analysis of recruitment and market data to inform resourcing decisions.
o Ensure appropriate talent pools are created and maintained for key positions.
o Work with the RPO provider to ensure recruitment objectives are attained for the business area(s) and act as arbiter to RPO and the business.
o Monitor and improve effective measurements system around resourcing processes utilising metrics, KPI's and SLA's.
o Build hiring manager interview capability.
o Leverage US/International Talent Acquisition resources as needed to foster an understanding and awareness of optimal solutions to meet medium and long-term resourcing requirements, and to ensure quality customer service and satisfaction.
o Engage and build network with local HR and recruitment teams to understand and leverage existing relationships, approaches, and practices
o Act as escalation point for any resourcing related issues
o Support recruitment activity across other regions or business units.
Qualifications / Experience:
o Proven experience of working within an in-house recruitment and resourcing team.
o Experience of managing an end to end resourcing process for contractor and permanent recruitment.
o Thorough and demonstrated knowledge of current EU and UK employment law with experience of policy development and implementation.
o Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
o Have a 'business partnership' approach and be capable of influencing others, with a sound appreciation of business aims, objectives and processes.
o Demonstrable experience of developing and implementing all elements of the recruitment process from workforce planning to on boarding of new starters.
o Experience of working with and managing an RPO partner through all stages of the recruitment process.
o Able to demonstrate a strong work ethic, drive and resilience and commitment as a team player. Flexibility and teamwork will therefore be strong attributes.
o Experience of international recruiting particularly in Europe and the Middle East is desirable.
o Help to further develop the culture of the company and drive the company values.
o The position will require travel to different sites across the UK. Occasional travel in Europe.
