Systems Integration Lead
Malaysia / Basildon
£450 - £550 per day

System Integration Lead required to be part of a £B programme protecting critical infrastructure assets with a focus on large scale strategic integrated Security Surveillance and Control Systems including Electro-Optic and Radar Sensors and Command and Control software.

You be responsible for the integration of solutions in theatre, in order to meet the customer technical requirements. Working closely with the customer and directing the engineering team you will grip the solution end to end to ensure that the delivery is compliant with user needs, and delivers the high quality, highly capable and effective solutions for which our client is known.

You will have proven and extensive experience in all aspects of the Systems Engineering lifecycle of a solution which includes requirements capture, design, analysis/modelling, integration, test and acceptance, with emphasis on extensive hands-on experience in integration, test and acceptance.



Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge

* Highly experienced at systems engineering and systems integration.
* Domain knowledge in at least 2 of the following technologies - Surveillance Radar, Electro-optics (CCTV and thermal Imaging), Command and Control System Software, ICT and Networked systems
* Demonstrable competence in leading the development and implementation of complex technical solutions, making engineering decisions, mitigating technical risk, and ensuring best practise is shared.
* Demonstrable competence in conducting and supporting design reviews of complex solutions
* Demonstrable competence in identifying non-customer requirements that are nevertheless crucial to the design integrity of a solution
* Familiarity with the concept of design certification including its importance in managing personal and corporate liability



This role will generally be office based with regular travel to customers and suppliers in both the UK and abroad. It will specifically require up to 2 short terms relocation of 2/3 months each in Malaysia. While in the UK this position will be based in Essex.
