Programme Ampthill - Warrior
Specific Job Description As part of the continued success of the Warrior Capability Sustainment Programme (WCSP), Our client requires an experienced Systems Engineer to join the Systems Engineering Team. The role will encompass all aspects of a systems engineering lifecycle across several technical domains, but will primarily be responsible for providing technical input into the project through the qualification, verification phases and the transition to production for both programmes. The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in maintaining and working requirements, generating and presenting acceptance and verification arguments, evaluation of supplier verification evidence and managing system changes as a result of DRACAS corrective action plans.

Required skills, qualifications and experience
The successful candidate must have experience of the following:
" Delivering system engineering activities on complex military or equivalent systems
" Maintenance of the requirements specifications including managing change using DOORS.
" Management of sub-system specifications and interface control documents
" Review and sentencing of supplier acceptance evidence
" Development of verification & acceptance statements at system and subsystem level
" Generation of evidence for the certification of complex systems and sub-systems
" Executing system engineering activities as part of a DRACAS process including investigation, impact assessment, implementation and verification
In addition the successful must candidate must have:
" Excellent communication skills.
" Excellent interpersonal behaviour, able to forge working relations internally and with external suppliers and customers.
" Understanding of the project lifecycle
" Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team
" Excellent verbal and written communication skills
" The ability to work to tight deadlines
