Job Description

Tasks & Accountabilities:

* Supplier Development and Improvement Activities
* o Project management of supplier improvement plans
* o Application and sponsorship of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
* o Identify performance trends and define the appropriate response to protect the Airbus internal customer.
* o Support the evolution of the management of quality assurance throughout the supply chain tiers including the proactive deployment of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning)

Supplier Risk Management & Surveillance

* o Ensure rigorous deployment of risk management and surveillance activities throughout the supply chain, assuring high levels of process capability and robust industrial capacity
* o Ensure maintenance of Supplier and product qualification in conjunction with other specialist functions.


* The successful candidate will have significant supply chain and or manufacturing experience within the Aerospace, Automotive or General Manufacturing industries.
* They will have experience of continuous improvement methods and tools
* Strong problem-solving skills using industry standard methodologies and a focus on driving change are essential
* They will be degree qualified (or have equivalent experience in a relevant field).
* Negotiation level English is essential, French would be advantageous
