Solution Designer / Architect (.Net) - Basingstoke or Gateshead
Permanent position
£50,000 - £60,000

Are you a Solution Designer / Architect with exposure to .Net framework, Agile and TOGAF?
Would you like to work for a global brand, with over 190 years' heritage?

If so, we are seeking Solution Designers / Architects on a permanent basis in Basingstoke and/or Gateshead.

A global leader in manufacturing. They employ over 3000 people across the world and they are listed on the London Stock Exchange, with revenues in-excess of £450 million.

What do they need?
A Solution Designer / Architect with a .Net background to work-on multi-product / platform solutions; including SaaS

What will I be doing?
Deliver application architecture and designs to meet requirements defined by the business for critical production systems
Employ extensive experience working with relevant development technologies to design and deliver prototypes, applications, and interfaces to business critical applications
Work with internal business and operational teams to deliver system designs in line with the technical roadmap
Provide technical advice and guidance both internally and externally on the architecture, design, and development of business critical production systems
Liaise with testing and operational teams to ensure the smooth migration of developed code from one environment to another
Mentor developers in best practice, suitable coding patterns, and development methodology

What will I bring?
Proven experience gained in Solution Design/Architecture, working within the .Net framework
It would be useful if you also had architecture/design experience with C#, C++, Java, HTML, JavaScript, T-SQL, MVC, Angular
Experience of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Web Services, and associated technologies
Good database skills with a sound understanding of, and experience using SQL Server
An understanding of Enterprise Service Buses, specifically Microsoft BizTalk
Knowledge-of and exposure to TOGAG or UML
Exposure to development and design utilising Agile methods
