Salary - £27,708 - £44,636
Location - Nuneaton

The successful candidate will have proven ability in C or C++ with an understanding of electrical design, development and integration and will be working with advanced technology: sensors, computer vision, processing hardware, simulation environments, artificial intelligence and research vehicles and robot platforms.

Key requirements

- Developing with one or more leading software languages e.g. C, C++, C#, Python, Java. Matlab etc.
- Linux or Windows proficiency as a user and developer; system and development tool chain setup, configuration and utilisation.
- Electrical / Electronic system design, development and integration
- Sensor electrical & software integration, test and development
- Low-level software design, development and integration
- Experience with Matlab or Simulink.
- Development of unmanned vehicles or robotics would be desirable
- Git, Github experience
- Controls and Signal processing

Qualifications
- Good engineering / sciences degree with significant electrical and/or software development content.
- Higher degree (relevant MSc, Eng. D or Ph.D.)

Other information
The candidate will become member of a development team with individual and team-level responsibilities, requiring the ability to work alone on some areas of the project but also collaboratively as part of the team.
The candidate will be required to work on defence projects and must be eligible for security clearance
Have a full UK driving license
