Software Engineer

We would like to invite an experienced Software Engineer who has succeeded in complex systems integration projects. You will play a key role in helping us deliver against a number of complex, mission critical, programmes within the Security and Defence sector. As you will be working very closely with our clients in a genuinely integrated project environment, it is important you hold SC Clearance.

THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
Programmes include the full systems engineering cycle of design through test and acceptance including COTS integration and software development. You will plan and facilitate a range of software development activities: design, development, prepare documentation, testing and debugging. You will implement processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle to ensure appropriate standards are achieved. You will also apply your expert knowledge of computer hardware and software to develop various software applications, correct program errors, prepare operating instructions and analyse system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, meet output requirements/input data acquisition/programming techniques, and implement controls.

PROFILE
To be able to deliver fully within this role you must have experience Production System of Systems Architecture artefacts in a notation such as MODAF, TOGAF, Zachman or similar architectural framework using a toolset such as MooD. It is also important that you are able to demonstrate experience of support of planning and executing time-boxed integration cycles using capability support tools.

Desired Skills:

* Experience in GEOINT systems
* Knowledge of modern IT and engineering technologies, toolsets and processes (development & operations)
* Experience working within an ITIL framework
* Experience working with service oriented architectures
* Experience working with virtualised products/services/solutions
