We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. Position Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated & goal-driven software engineer proficient with MATLAB to join our development team. The successful candidate will develop professional vehicle dynamics analysis techniques and bespoke tool sets in the Method and Tool Development Team. This will include the development of the team's database structure, data processing, and visualisation techniques, all of which are integral to the Team being able to deliver robust solutions to the business. In addition, the role includes working alongside vehicle dynamics engineers in order to capture customer requirements and verify the end product. The successful candidate will be an AGILE advocate and practitioner and will be responsible for task delivery in a Scrum team. Ideally they will have experience in a formal programming language, ideally an object oriented language. The role will enable to increase efficiency by replacing physical prototypes with virtual test methods throughout the Product Creation Delivery System.

Skills Required:

1. MATLAB software programming (or other object oriented language), AGILE methodology practitioner
2. Demonstrable applied mathematics skill Excellent communication and team work skills

Experience Required:
1. High (2:1 minimum) degree in Computer Science or Software, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
2. Previous experience in a similar role in the Automotive (or related) industry would be advantageous.

Experience Preferred:
1. Experience with formal software programming languages, ideally MATLAB (or other object oriented language)
