As hacking attacks evolve, business are constantly targeted from internal and external cyber threats. Whilst cyber security seems to be a hot topic at the moment, what a business can do to protect its networks, systems and information.
ARM are pleased to support one of the leading consultancies, in search for a manager for their Security Operations Centre, offering 24/7 managed security services in Reading.
Key Responsibilities:
" Overall management of the centre. To include, staffing, operation, related processes and systems
" Working with analysts handling escalations
" Working with the company and clients alike to assist with financial and resource scheduling to optimise service costs.
" Provide System Security advice and reporting to senior management
" Service management where there is a reliance on a 3rd party for delivery
" Produce and present Service line reports to clients and resolve any outstanding.
" Willingness to travel

Although this position focuses quite heavily on service management/client delivery, candidates must have an experienced technical background to include knowledge of network/internet testing methodologies and threat intelligence analysis. Other Must have technical skills include:
" Experience of developing and enhancing information security processes and policies
" Familiarity with industry leading security products and SIEM tool sets
" Experience of working within a change control and incident management environment
" Knowledge or experience of SPF, JSP 440
" Understanding of IT security fundamentals and systems including Multiple operating systems
" Client / Server applications, Firewalls, IPS/IDS
" Malware / Forensic product sets
" Networking principles and Internet protocols
" Patch management
As an essential, candidates must have, at least one, of the following certifications:
" GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH);
" GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA);
" GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM).
" GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA);
" GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE);
" Encase Certified Examiner (EnCE);
" Certified Computer Examiner (CCE);
" AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE).
" CISSP.
" CISM.
