To guide inspection department through daily priorities. Ensuring customer requirements are maintained and issues are communicated throughout the business in a timely manner. Provide liaison between inspection and production offering advice and guidance to operators to overcome issues and make process and set up improvements.

" Prioritise throughput of the Inspection area to support all areas of the business, this will include managing conflict between sales requirements and maintaining loading of the shop floor.
" Driving manufacturing improvements across the shop floor
" Provide internal training when required on aspects of inspection
" Facilitate customer/3rd party inspector visits
" Champion improvement activities that reduce potential errors, accidents or incidents.
" Conduct patrol activities to pinpoint issues before they become a recordable incident.
" Ensure inspection support is available, when required.
" Use and setting of inspection measuring and test equipment within an engineering environment
" Understanding of Quality improvement tools and techniques
" Understanding of the general requirements ISO 9001 and AS 9100
" Able to operate and write programmes on a CMM and interpret data
