Senior Electrical / Instrumentation Engineer

Known for their rapidly growing presence within the Petrochemical industry, my client are now looking for a Senior E/I Engineer to join their team in Grangemouth, Scotland.

As the Senior Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer you will be reporting into the Reliability Team Leader and will be responsible for the electrical / instruments across the refinery with key tasks including reliability improvement and providing expertise across the facility.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is either looking for a step up in the career or looking to progress into a management position as you may deputise for the Reliability Team Leader.

The key duties for this role will include;

- Providing expert and proactive resource to the refinery teams to deliver electrical and instrument integrity and reliability improvement across all the refinery assets.
- Champion key reliability improvement processes and KPIs across the Refinery (eg vulnerability management, equipment criticality), to ensure the processes are owned by the respective area and are being delivered consistently to the required standard.
- To lead the application and coaching of team members to ensure reliability and efficiency of improvement techniques

About You
- You will hold an Engineering degree or equivalent which will be accompanies with a chartered status.
- Experience of working with Electrical equipment, machinery and instrumentation within a petrochemical or oil & gas related industry.
- Experience and working knowledge of improvement processes and techniques.
