Security Governance & Compliance Analyst - Southampton
Up-to £55,000pa + benefits

What do they need?
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Security Governance & Compliance Analyst to join a Solution Delivery and IT Team in Southampton.

As an organisation within the Financial Services industry, it is incumbent on the company to comply with a wide range of operational controls and it is the responsibility of the Risk & Compliance Analyst to measure compliance to the IT Security controls.

Key focus areas
Risk - provide consultancy & support to all levels of the business on its Risk Management strategy and methods

Audit - co-ordinate the application of the company's audit methodology and provide support to the business on audit management and compliance

IT Security Governance - Ensure the effective implementation of Security Policies and standards across the business and its IT outsourcing partners. You will also review IT Security operational management processes / procedures

Policy and Compliance - Ensure the company owned Security Policies are reviewed and up to date

What will my background be?
You will be an experienced Security Professional, with specialism for IT Security Governance, Polices, Auditing and Compliance.

The Security Governance & Compliance Analyst will have solid IT experience including; development, operational activities and preferably a financial services environment

You will have experience of working to IT Governance Frameworks (COBIT, TickIT, ISF, ISO27001) and hold or be working-towards an appropriate governance professional certification (IT Governance, CRISC, CISSP, CISM, CISA or equivalents)
