Security Engineer / Consultant - ForcePoint / Websense & CheckPoint

£50,000 - £65,000 + Car Allowance & Annual Bonus

Berkshire w/ frequent travel (UK - London / M4 Corridor)

Possible WFH option

My client, a leading MSSP, is seeking a proven technical security consultant to join their team professional services team delivery first class consultancy with you being predominately focussed on ForcePoint / Websense & CheckPoint

You will provide consultancy and support services to customers (internal and external) including project planning, installation, post-installation support and pre-sales.
Responsibilities will include
" Full planning and installation of products / delivery of services
" Being a fully participative member of the Support team
" Supporting pre-sales with or on behalf of sales representative
" Implementation and design documents
" Project planning and management of above
" Delivery of related technical services
" Recommendations to sales and customer on provision of correct toolsets and services
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and knowledge:
Essential
" Websense - Experience of installing into customer sites and familiar with both the standalone, ISA/Active Directory implementations and V-series appliances
" Check Point Firewall-1 R7X (Installation and 2nd, and 3rd line Support)
" Installing Check Point Firewall-1 into customer sites and be familiar with NGX and R70 and revisions of the software
" Experience of installing Check Point Software on Nokia, SecurePlatform and GAiA environments into customer sites
Desirable
" F5 - Experience of providing telephone support and/or installing LTM/APM appliances on-site and remote service such as i-rule development
" RSA - Experience of providing telephone based support at a 2nd line level for the Authentication manager range of products
" Sourcefire - Exposure of the Sourcefire IPS/IDS systems
