SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES - Sales Vacancy
The role is responsible for business development activities. The role develops and maintains strong relationships with allocated clients and identifies further opportunities for sales on an ongoing basis.
Builds and maintains good client relations with existing and future potential clients on a professional level whilst participating in sales related social events.
Pro-active business development activity including seek out new business opportunities, re-establish contact with previous clients.
Visit clients regularly providing product updates and standards updates.
Identify and nurture opportunities to extend sales and margins both within existing and future client businesses.
Advise the Sales Manager or relevant Account Manager of any new sales opportunities or enquiries for new business which have been highlighted.
Liaison with support departments and co-ordination of activities to ensure consistent delivery of contract obligations to clients Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to the Sales Manager.
Prepare and deliver sales quotations and participation in company sales tender process.
Ensure accurate stock allocation at all times, if there is a requirement for additional stock, this should be managed accordingly, ensuring correct stock allocation available at all times.
Assist in planning the dispatch of finished goods to ensure goods delivered to clients in a timely manner and in line with client contractual expectations.
Daily expediting of orders in a timely manner and in accordance with company expectations and deadlines.
