A truly world-class Engineering Company, specialising in Aerospace, Defence and Security. They are the largest inward investor in the UK MOD and are currently responsible for several key Cyber Security projects across Europe.

In Bristol, they have a unique Centre of Excellence for defence & security, with the very latest technological innovation on-offer to its customers.

What will I be doing?
A Sales Manager with IT & Cyber Sales experience is required to join the team in Bristol and support the IT & Cyber sales for Government, Defence and Enterprise in the UK and Overseas.

You will be required to develop, own and deliver key IT & Cyber bids working across functional disciplines and particularly closely with the operations team and Head of Sales. You will be working across the defence, security, government and CNI markets to deliver exacting order in-take targets.

To continue to successfully grow their business within this market, they need a Sales Manager who can target mid-size and larger opportunities (from £1M to £30M) either working directly with the end customer.

What will my background be?
You will have demonstrable experience of exploiting and developing new sales opportunities within the IT & Cyber markets and have a track-record of closing deals in the region of £1 million - £5 million.

Relationship-building will be a strong point for you and you'll be confident in networking across the defence, security and Government sectors. Additionally, you will be able to form long-term partnerships, both internally with the sales team and also with direct customers.

You will be a confident and extremely proficient presenter, able to present solutions and service offerings to a range of audiences.

Lastly, you must be willing to obtain, or already possess SC clearance

Salary and Location
£55,000 - £70,000. Based in Bristol with frequent travel to customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas.
