Sales Director - Birmingham/Client Site

We are looking for a distinguished Head of Sales to further grow the businesses in alignment with business objectives.

The successful candidate will be an independent self-starter that is able to establish spirit de corps for the team while charting accountability and aggressive growth. A strong sense of business analytic and character and the ability to deal with the undefined are key requisites.

The candidate will focus on delivering the overall sales strategy for the region by understanding the target market, and will use this knowledge to grow existing partners, channels and OEM relationships to maximise revenue and market share. The right candidate will stand up for effective, proven methods to sell security software, and will provide the team with the strategic direction, leadership and know-how it requires to drive revenue and grow market share.

Job Responsibilities:
Serves as the primary spokesperson and representative of the business setting a strong and positive image to relevant stakeholders.
Develop, drive and cultivate the sales strategy to create demand and increase revenue and be responsible for the delivery of the strategy.
Complete design and build of the Partner programme and look for opportunities to further develop Strategic Alliances.
Identify and drive direct sales opportunities and partnerships using various sales and marketing strategies, Create & promote a culture that reflects the organisations values, encourages strong performance and rewards productivity and over achievement.
Provides prompt, thorough and accurate information to keep the management appropriately informed of the pipeline and financial position of the business.
Lead and motivate a world-class sales team. Responsible for all elements of sales compensation, tools, planning, organisation & structure for the region - aligned with the corporate directives and guidelines that are given.
Establish & implement short term & long term goals, objectives, operating procedures.
Ensure that operating objectives and standards of performance are not only understood, but owned by the employees.
Sell & close marquee deals that can be used to drive more business. Develop and cultivate direct sales opportunities and establish engagements to ensure profitable revenue growth
Overall responsibility for ongoing management of staff, including motivational leading, training, development and performance.
Establish and maintain a harmonious working relationship with other business units to ensure that service and performance targets are achievable and profitable;
Responsible for negotiating and adhering to contracted performance and service levels agreed with the Management Team.
Responsible for reporting to the Executive Team and making recommendations where appropriate for;
Sales (budgeting, forecasting and actual)
Customer Satisfaction

Essential Requirements:
10+ years of Senior level Sales Management experience in Cyber Security.
A natural hunter, with high level contacts within Penetration Testing and Security Operations Centre's.
Experience of executing a successful sales strategy.
Track record of building creative, collaborative & apolitical teams.
Willing to both lead at a high level & be hands-on when needed.
Experienced in reinvigorating, driving and managing a technology business:
Ability to develop business from scratch, build sales pipeline and close deals
Leadership and motivation of Sales, Marketing & Technical teams resources
Longer term development and scaling of regional teams.
Forecasting and related sales processes;
Customer and Channel relationship management;
Contract and related commercial support.
Deep understanding of the software sales cycle and associated processes
Demonstrable experience in managing sales budgets and profit and loss;
Demonstrated ability to work actively with and through sales teams to generate new business opportunities and revenue streams.
Capable of developing and maximising new partners.
Able to foster a professional and enjoyable working environment for sales and operational staff.
Able to effectively prepare, justify and communicate sales forecasting and delivery measurable.
Enthusiastic, hard working with a mature attitude.
Presentation skills of a high order, Oral and written communications skills of a high order.

Desirable requirements:
Experience selling Pen testing and SOC services to Public, Private and Government departments.

Experience and qualifications:
Degree educated or tertiary qualifications in information
