Position Description:
Reporting to the Manager of Combustion and Emissions Research, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering key technologies and integrated solutions regarding emissions control. The opportunity: A talented, self-motivated Project Leader, with strong powertrain experience is required to lead emissions research and development projects. The role is an ideal opportunity for an imaginative and proactive engineer to influence technology direction and delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and will be encouraged to build expertise and leadership in a critical technology area.

Skills Required:
1. Technical understanding of engine performance and emissions development and calibration.
2. Technical understanding of after-treatment technology.
3. Project management skills.

Experience Required:
Degree qualified - Engineering or Science. - Experience of engineering projects related to engine combustion emissions or calibration. - Performance and emissions or calibration experience (Petrol or Diesel engines). - Project leadership experience. - Engineering tools - excel. - Project management tools - Microsoft Project.

Experience Preferred:
Vehicle calibration experience or background particularly desirable. - Technical delivery of a new emissions technology. - Engine programme delivery experience. - EPSRC, Innovate UK or APC project experience.
