A fantastic position has arisen for a Reliability, Maintainability & Supportability Manager to join a market leading defence & security prime, on site at RAF Waddington. This position would particularly suit ex-RAF individuals with proven experience working on the E-3D Sentry fleet, in addition to possessing knowledge of MoD/RAF operations, engineering, logistics, maintenance and airworthiness programs.

Job Title: Reliability, Maintainability & Supportability Manager
Location: RAF Waddington
Salary: Up to £41,500

A world leader within the aerospace & defence domain are now seeking a Reliability, Maintainability & Supportability Manager to join their growing team at RAF Waddington. This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary of up to £41,500 per annum + fantastic company benefits. Due to the nature of the work all applicants must be able and willing to obtain SC clearance.

The role will provide management of the Reliability, Maintainability and Supportability (RMS) programme in the execution of the Sentry Whole Life Support Programme. The successful applicant will be responsible for collaborating on a daily basis with the Design Organisation, Supply and Engineering teams, and with all other disciplines in the business to provide RMS support / interface to Programme Management.

Skills Required

* Required experience within Supportability or Liability engineering preferable or Logistics Engineering as a considered option
* Leadership and Management experience, ideally with experience in the development of new innovative processes and procedures to enhance programme performance results.
* Have a proven track record of achievement in a quality/technical role as well as experience of providing technical support to Programme management.
* The successful candidate must have the proven project management abilities and relevant experience in the defence market.
* Experience in RMS is essential and must be able to adapt and tailor the approach to fulfil the customer's requirement
* Experience with MOD/RAF operations, engineering, logistics, maintenance, and airworthiness programs and policies; and experience with operational/senior staff's performance and availability expectations.
* Requires specialised expertise on E-3D aircraft engineering and is thoroughly familiar with all regulatory requirements and is recognised as an expert within the organisation.
