Then this is a new & exciting opportunity for a Project Manager - Software to join an expanding engineering company on the South Coast. The company is involved with the design, development, manufacture & support of automated capital equipment for the manufacturing market place.

Primary functions:

" Coordination, controlling and reporting a project:

Responsible for:

Preparation, planning and execution of projects according to approved targets based on agreed Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process for all phases and milestones in cooperation with assigned team members in order to satisfy our customers and meet commercial objectives.

In his/her role the Project Manager is the cross-functional peer of all involved functional Group Managers within Systems Engineering and Test, Hardware Development, Software Development, Sourcing, Production, Machine Assembly, Service and Quality Management as well as Product Management and Marketing.

Personal Requirements:

" Qualified to HND/HNC or equivalent in engineering or management, or a track record yielding equivalent experience.
" Ideally hold membership of an appropriate and recognised professional project management organisation at IPMA Level D or above, e.g. UK Association for Project Management (APM), PRINCE 2 qualified.
" Must possess solid experience in a modern engineering/manufacturing and service environment. This should demonstrate successful experience of supervising an inter-discipline team to achieve a variety of objectives within challenging timescales.

" Willing and able to travel globally.
" Good knowledge across multi disciplines - Engineering, Operations, Customer services, Finance etc.
