As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for managing around 2-3 vehicle test programmes at any one time. This will involve; liaising with the customer; creating proposals and quotations based on their requirements; turning the requirements in to a test programme; for the technicians to carry out; before analysing the test data and creating test reports to then feed back to the customer.

Ideally you will be currently working within an emissions testing environment in either the automotive, aerospace, off-highway, truck or bus industry either in a test cell facility or on whole vehicle emissions. You will be installing vehicles on to test equipment and vice-versa, calibrating equipment, performing tests, collating data, report writing and liaising with customers.


- Prior background working with an vehicle testing environment is essential.
- A confident character who can liaise with customers and suppliers alike.
- Usage of AVL, Bosch tools, Cameo, CPCadet or similar may put you at a distinct advantage.
- Hands-on vehicle preparation is a must.
- Knowledge and usage of pressure transducers or thermocouples.
- Data capture, analysis and reporting.
- A clean driver's license- proving ground experience would be great!
