We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. Project Engineer will responsible for taking and agreeing requirements, along with the relevant test cases and validating the system design, culminating in full system sign-off.

We have an opportunity within a leading automotive client, based out of their Warwickshire head office. Project Engineer will responsible for taking and agreeing requirements, along with the relevant test cases and validating the system design, culminating in full system sign-off.

Position Description:
Working with and reporting to the Drive Unit Lead Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting delivery of drive unit programmes. The responsibility will include engineering activities to ensure robust programme delivery including DFMEA, DVP (RMDV), Test management and report writing and review of supplier reports against design requirements. The role will also involve supplier liaison and running weekly project meetings. A close working relationship is also required with purchasing, manufacturing, STA and interfacing design groups to agree and deliver the needs of the programmes.

Skills Required:
1) The ability to manage complex technical issues to balance the needs of the business, using analytical skills, working with data, within project timing constraints
2) Appreciation of both CAE and imperial test techniques.
3) Experience in, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word are essential ,Experience with systems GPDS, RMDV and AIMS processes.

Experience Required:
Applicants to be educated Degree level or equivalent in an Engineering discipline .Experience minimum experience within an project engineering position.

Experience Preferred:
Experience of road load data and component fatigue analysis techniques
