What will be I doing?
As the PMO Coordinator you will be responsible for taking a lead in supporting the Head of IT Projects, Portfolio Managers and Project Managers within the PMO in co-ordinating and controlling medium to large projects and programmes throughout the entire Life-Cycle.
The PMO Coordinator will act as the focal point for project/programme co-ordination and control activities, whilst maintaining governance standards, processes and templates.
At-times, you will be analysing data utilising Excel, maintaining and monitoring reporting processes and producing MI reports. You will also assist in the creation and maintenance of programme/project plans, finance tracking and progress reporting.
The PMO Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on Risks, Issues, Dependencies and Change Requests on all projects.
What do they need from me?
You will have a background in project / programme coordination, coordinating and controlling medium to large projects through the full lifecycle.
As an experience Coordinator, you should also have experience at PMO level, operating across a large PMO team and be responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring multiple projects concurrently.
You should understand fully the change control/management process and be comfortable maintaining and monitoring project/programme plans, finance tracking and reporting.
The PMO Coordinator should have a strong understanding of IT applications and technology (e.g. MS Office, Video conferencing, Powerpoint, Excel etc)
It would be beneficial if you currently held a formal project management qualification such as Prince2, MSP or Agile.
