If successful you would be responsible for providing support to the Programme Control Lead in delivering robust Programme Performance Management responsibilities. We are ideally seeking a Project Admin/Support resource at the start of their career to grow and develop into this role.

One of the world's largest defence organisations are now seeking a Programme Office Trainee to join their team in Havant. This is a permanent opportunity with a salary of up to £26,000 + fantastic company benefits. Due to the nature of the work all applicants must be able and willing to obtain SC clearance.
The successful Programme Office Trainee would be responsible for providing support to the Programme Control Lead in delivering robust Programme Performance Management responsibilities. You would also work alongside a Subcontract Programme manager to ensure suppliers are working to the programme's needs (deliverables, cost and schedule).
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong analytical skills
* Good oral and written communications
* Strong inter-personal skills indicating an aptitude for independence and leadership combined with ability for working in a team environment.
* Confident self-starter capable of handling enquiries and problems without appreciable direction
* Completed a degree, ideally in an Aviation / Finance / Business Management related discipline
* Knowledge of additional functional areas such as engineering, manufacturing and finance would be an advantage
* Awareness of Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tool
