My client is looking for a Programme Director / Programme Manager for a 6 month contract based in Middlesex
Planning Responsible for prioritising and managing own workload, and others as required Develop resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities
Demonstrate extensive business acumen and professional judgement in applying the change framework, with context of project/programme priorities, and holding others to account for non-adherence.
Monitor progress of project delivery, resolve issues and initiate appropriate corrective action, driving fact-based and objective decision making at a senior level, gaining alignment around complex and high-impact decisions.
Review programme spend vs. budget and scope change requests, and manage investment decisions to resolution
Ensure that the scope of the projects within the programme align with business priorities
Manage programme-level risks and inter dependencies
Provide technical expertise in planning, execution, and leadership of programme, projects, and initiatives
Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
Represent the project across the various project governance forums
Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall and integrated delivery plan
Ensure end results are of the highest calibre with a clearly articulated scope and quantifiable business benefit Operational Responsibilities Ensure risks, issues, impacts, dependencies, costs and benefits are clearly articulated and captured as part of programme/project delivery and shared with key stakeholders
Ensure delivery of projects to time, cost and quality once agreements are given
Ensure the project artefacts are delivered in a way that causes no operational or customer detriment
Ensure IS changes can land in the business and transitional activities have been communicated and can be undertaken prior to technology change.
Stakeholders Set up and maintains strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation, providing counsel to senior stakeholders, delivering constructive challenges and managing conflict to navigate wide-reaching business issues and deliver strategic objectives.
Promote collaboration across stakeholders
Ensure stakeholders receive appropriate and timely communications
Provides the status on delivery for governance forums for IS change as appropriate and ensures governance is in place Manages third party relationships as required Identify improvements and implement changes through the PMO
