Are you a Product Owner with extensive online / digital experience?
Would you like to work within a Product Team that's passionate about delivering world class customer experiences?

If so, our major retail customer in London, is seeking a Product Owner with proven online/digital experience to help optimise their digital customer experience.

A British retail company, with over 150 years' heritage on the UK High Street.

Employing over 18,000 people in the UK, they have a turn-over north of £1 billion and have 60 stores across the country. Currently, they are re-vamping their digital customer experience and 2018 represents an excellent time to join them on their journey.

What do they need?
A Product Owner with proven digital/online or ecommerce channel experience, to join a fantastic product team and take responsibility for developing and optimising the digital experience from homepage to basket, ensuring a best in class retail customer experience.

What will I be doing?
Together with the Product Manager, you'll create and refine a roadmap which meets the objectives and KPIs outlined in the Digital Product strategy
Work closely with Insight and Customer Experience teams, analysing customer data and user research to inform and define appropriate customer experiences for the product
Continuous engagement with stakeholders and SMEs across functional areas to ideate, capture and refine the product backlog
Understand needs of the wider business, defining stories, acceptance criteria and prioritising the backlog accordingly
Employ a test and learn approach, leveraging MVT capability to shape product development
Clearly communicate objectives and goals ahead of every release and measure success post release
Participate in daily stand ups, sprint planning, review meetings and retrospectives as well as leading end of sprint demos
Keep abreast of competitor and industry trends to ensure the product stays ahead of the competition
What will I bring?
A proven track-record of operating as a Product Owner in a digital product capacity (online / ecommerce), ideally from a retail environment
A dynamic individual and a digital enthusiast with a passion for putting the customer at the heart of everything
Have a fanatical focus on continuously driving product development that delivers on product KPIs and business benefit
Able to build and maintain strong relationships with people from across the business, including stakeholders, insight, engineering and creative teams
A natural team player, able to operate in a fast-paced environment
