WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
The Product Owner is responsible for providing the vision and overall strategic direction of a software development product.

You will be a key champion of the product, working with customers to further the adoption and use of the product.

Day-to-day, the Product Owner interfaces between the customer and the Agile or Kanban development team, to fully understand the requirements of the product, prioritise the product backlog, aid in the development of user stories that fulfil customer requirements, and provide guidance on trade-offs in feature development.

You will create and maintain the product roadmap to ensure consistent communication and understanding of a product's current status and future direction.

WHO DO THEY NEED?
An experienced Product Owner and a strong advocate for Agile and Kanban software development methodologies.

The Product Owner should be adept at capturing and managing customer needs, either through traditional requirements management or through agile user story definition

You will be comfortable defining and capturing product or project strategy through roadmaps, schedules or product vision

Lastly, you will be a leader of people and comfortable in showing strong leadership with software development teams

Desired criteria:
Experience of UK Government working practices
Understanding of developing application for use within secure environments.
