Procurement Administration Assistant
Chelmsford, Essex
Contract- 2 months initially
£12/hr

My client is a leader in the manufacture and installation of subsea cables for offshore renewable technologies, and they are looking for a Procurement Admin Assistant to join their team in Chelmsford, Essex.

The department are responsible for all Operations Purchasing for project & product businesses, forecasting & demand management within the procurement Support function is responsible for process management of the tasks detailed below .

" Issue and manage requests for quotation
" Manage & control supplier deliverables (time, cost & quality)
" Issue & track PO`s
" Ensure correct maintenance of SAP data
" Extract procurement reports from SAP
" Manage suppliers returns & repair process
" Resolve invoice queries
" Support the clearance of supplier quality/performance issues
" Regular reports to customers

Essential:
Experience of raising purchase orders
Demonstrable experience within a purchasing department
Experience in SAP or similar (MRP or ERP tools)
Exposure to technical documents
Good computer Skills
