Presales Consultant - Cisco Collaboration
Home based with travel to London and surrounding Counties

DESCRIPTION

My client is looking for someone to define, design and deliver collaboration infrastructures that enable clients to communicate more effectively. Collaboration includes Cisco unified communications and video infrastructures and the role is to enable my client to win and deliver collaboration solutions. The Consultant will undertake full life cycle assignments for existing and new customers, provide bid support on major bids and develop collaboration designs for projects and customer proposals.

Key skills include:
- The ability to develop account opportunities
- The ability to design complex integrated solutions that combine Unified Communications and video infrastructures
- The ability to understand existing and emerging products and to develop new propositions with the practice team.
- The analysis of customers’ requirements followed by production of a baseline design and scope of works based on those requirements
- From time to time to act as a Technical Design Authority on major accounts, designing the solution and maintaining the design through the life of the equipment.
- To undertake revenue earning projects covering all aspects of UC and video infrastructure integration around core Cisco product portfolios.
- Support sales decisions with a broad knowledge of competitive technologies
- Work in conjunction with clients providing trusted advice to all levels of technical knowledge and business focus, consequently the successful candidate will be required to provide deep technical insight and also be able to articulate the business value of the solutions they design.
- Candidates should be able to confidently communicate in mixed environments with customer technical specialists and to senior executives.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience of Cisco UC&C portfolio.
- Experience of securing UC&C solutions
- Experience of single site, multi site and branch network voice and video solutions
- Experience of voice applications such as Conferencing, Unified Messaging, Voice Recording.
- Understanding of the Telco services – LAN/WAN & Voice
- Understanding of collaboration environments around Unified communications.
- Understanding of security solutions around Unified communications
- Knowledge and experence with as many of following technolgogies; Spark, Unified Communications Manager, Jabber, Expressway, UCCE, WebEx, Telepresence
- CCNA Collaboration & above. (CCNP/CCIE)
