What do they need?
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a PMO Planner to join their fast-paced IT function located within their Southampton office.
The business is looking for a candidate who can support the Programme and Project Managers and is required to lead and manage project, programme and portfolio planning, milestone and exception reporting, and to produce and maintain appropriate plans across the portfolio.
To identify through facilitation, and subsequently collate, the key planning constraints, dependencies, durations, milestones and resource requirements across all projects in the Change Portfolio.
The successful candidate will participate in a variety of Programmes as well as a critical Regulatory Portfolio assisting the Portfolio in all levels of planning, miles and exception reporting whilst understanding and delivering project governance.
What will you have?
A PMO Planning background, holding a Prince2 Certification or equivalent and extensive exposure to MS Project.
You will have a proven track-record of scheduling & planning of large scale change projects/programmes and strong knowledge of IT Delivery lifecycle and software methodologies.
To be successful, you will also have experience of engaging with 3rd Parties(both delivering-with and management-of) and experience of working in a Financial Services environment
