My client has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Plant Operations Manager to work with all disciplines to ensure all project delivery requirements for ALO/Lifting and plant usage are understood and work with Sub contractors to ensure all the company plant requirements are understood.

Key Duties

-Undertake the Role of ALO Champion.
-Monitor / Review / Audit all projects for compliance to industry requirements regarding ALO
-Attend required forums with client regarding ALO
-Under take the role of Lift Planning champion
-Maintain competence for lift planning
-Review all lift plans utilised on projects for suitability and compliance
-Audit and assess suitability of plant suppliers
-Review project usage of plant, provide a support service to ensure the correct plant is used for the correct task.
-Work with procurement to ensure the best suppliers are available for plant hire.
-Undertake awareness training for existing Alstom employees on projects for ALO, Lift planning and Plant
-Develop and maintain relationships with Contractors delivery teams.
-Promote and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
-Undertake the role in a way that is consistent with, and reinforces company standards.
-Carryout site duties as and when required for project support and to maintain competence.
-Identify and notify interface programme risks and opportunities.

Skills:
-Proven ability managing plant suppliers and auditing
-Proven experience in developing high-performing teams
-Ability to influence at a senior level
-Proven ability to engage with customers and build collaborative relationships with stakeholders at a senior level

Qualifications:
-OTP planning
-ALO planning
-Lift Planning
-Auditor

Experience:
-Man management roles
-Working across multiple projects managing lift planning and ALO requirements
-Experience of supplier interface
-Auditing skills of auditing suppliers and projects for compliance to standards
