New Business Sales Manager office in London or Slough - Home based Up to £75,000 base Double OTE

Role
Working within the Information Insights sales team owning an individual sales target you would be required to identify, develop and close opportunities through a blend of existing and new business accounts. The role would be dual with specialist overlay and direct sale elements.
Information Insights focuses on the sale and delivery of IT4IT, Data Advisory, Data Platform Strategy, IT Operational Analytics, Enterprise Security Analytics, Data Services & Data Management Platforms and Financial Planning and Reporting, you will be required over time to understand and sell these core proposition. We are seeking individuals who have an overall understanding of the Data space and would prefer those with previous experience selling either IOT, Hadoop, Splunk or Data Virtualisation.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be hands-on, hard-working and energetic team player with the ability to work at a C level in a fast-moving technology environment.

Key Performance Indicators

Drive sales performance through identifying, engaging and closing new opportunities and clients to ensure the achievement of targets for GM, profitability and sales growth
Generating new business, negotiating major deals at C level
Monitoring personal sales performance and initiating corrective action where necessary
Regular reporting of performance and activity
Participate in the development of the wider team in their personal understanding of the relevant Information Insights offerings
Identify business opportunities through proactive communications with existing customers & prospects through sales and marketing campaigns
Ensure the accurate forecasting of all sales opportunities within CRM
Ensure the sales process is followed and completed from end-to-end within policy guidelines i.e. from initial identification through to closure

Person Requirements
The candidate will have a senior level sales background within IT and specifically in the area of Analytics / Big Data. A preference will be provided to candidates with a proven track record in with IOT, Hadoop, Splunk or Data Virtualisation
Experience within entrepreneurial focused businesses
Proven performance against target
Knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies and competitors
Proven commercial awareness and strong financial acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing/leading teams consisting of technical presales consultants, product specialists, project managers and vendor personnel would also be desirable
Able to inspire, motivate and lead by example on projects and assignments
Self-sufficient
Engaging and results focused
Strong team player ethos

Strong sales skills, confident and professional
A champion of customer service, focussed on establishing every customer as a reference
Excellent organisational, communicational, administrative and interpersonal skills

Commercially astute, able to analyse complex business and financial data
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to effectively manage multiple tasks without compromising attention to detail
