Microsoft Identity and Collaboration Consultant £40,000 - £48,000 - home based

My client, a leading IT solutions provider is looking to hire a new Professional Services Consultant.

Due to continued growth we have a fantastic opportunity for a consultant focusing on Microsoft Identity and Collaboration technologies.

The role will include delivering high quality consultancy across a number of technology areas from within the Active Directory and Exchange Suites specifically focusing on on-premises Active Directory / Azure Active Directory, On-premises Exchange / Exchange Online.

The role will include post sales technical consultancy, undertaking delivery and implementation engagements, as well as providing assistance to some pre-sales qualification, bid response and design to consultancy engagements.

A typical Technical Consultant will have had 2 to 3 years of experience in a senior Systems Engineer type role.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Principal Accountabilities but not limited to the following;

" Assist with qualification of designs and opportunities
" Attend and present at customer opportunities and workshop sessions
" Provide appropriate contributions to Statement of Works and Invitations to Tender
" Keep up-to-date with current and future technologies, products and strategies
" Build a solid skills foundation in chosen subject matter - Active Directory (On-premises & Cloud)
" Build a solid skills foundation in chosen subject matter - Exchange (On-premises & Cloud)
" Build and enhance relationships with peers
" Continue development of consultative skills
" Undertake individual consultancy assignments or work on a project as part of a larger team analysing customer requirements, gathering and analysing data and recommending solutions
" Technically manage the design and implementation of solutions, with the exception of those which are high risk/large scale
" Ensure consultancy assignments are undertaken consistently and with quality
" Highlight technical risks so that any Comms-care exposure to commercial loss can be minimised
" Produce and update assignment documentation as required
" Ensure that hand over to relevant support organisation is successfully completed
" Provide technical support as requested, for internal and external customers
" Identify other Comms-care service and sales opportunities

" Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Messaging
" Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Server Infrastructure
" Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate: Office 365

PREFERRED

" Two to three years of experience in a senior Systems Engineer type role

" Excellent knowledge of chosen subject matter
