Job Description

Title of Job: Metrologist
Location: Nuneaton
£27,000 - £37,000

Main Purpose of Job
" To develop and document instrument calibration methods.

Key Functions
" Calibration project management.
" Develop and document instrument calibration methods.
" Measurement uncertainty control.
" Introduce new reference equipment & methods.
" Conduct staff technical training.
" Supervise other technical staff as required

Preferred Qualifications
" Bsc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
" Driving licence
" Msc in Electronic Engineering or equivalent

Preferred Experience
" 2 years in a similar role within a multi-disciplinary Calibration laboratory.
" Experience of Fluke MetCal software at an Advanced level.
" Experience of MS Excel at an Advanced level.

" 2 years working in a UKAS accredited Calibration laboratory.
